Oh no! Snow threats!

Indeed, the possibility that we’ll be getting a couple of inches of snow at some point during the day tomorrow are somewhat high. But before we all start running around like headless chickens in search of provisions, take note: the absolute maximum prediction for the District is around three measly inches. Plus, as WAMU reports, the District Department of Transportation is totally ready for another “snowmaggedden” (which is certainly one of the more interesting ways we’ve seen that word spelled).

DDOT’s Karyn Le Blanc says the city learned a valuable lesson: “The difference between just a general plow and a snow removal program.”

LeBlanc says this time around the city has contractors standing by with heavy-duty snow removal equipment.

So, yeah: bring it on, snow gods! We’ll be sure to nudge Davy DCist and let him know that snow might be coming.
