Government workers get a lot of crap in America. Everybody has stories about lazy employees who do no work but can’t be fired. They make too much money or they get too much of a pension, they shouldn’t be so secure at their jobs, so on and so forth. They’re a major target of the Tea Party, both personally and the government agencies they work for.

But don’t worry, government folks, there are still people who believe in you.

As the horde of Santas are gathering, a little girl runs across Pennsylvania Avenue and excitedly proclaims to her parents: “Look! The Treasury Department!”
