Good Morning, Washington. It’s your last shopping weekend before Christmas: so get thee out to local stores and markets and buy your last-minute gifts. I’ll certainly be heading out to Eastern Market for some shopping and to see a Tommy Claus tomorrow.

>> DC9 opened without incident last night, a little past 9 p.m., with Sommer Mathis confirming that the club didn’t open Wednesday because of the cost of the police detail. Meanwhile, Rend Smith reports about the other guy who broke one of DC9’s windows the same night Ali Ahmed Mohammed threw a brick through one. 21-year-old Georgio Tuccio, according to his lawyer, punched through a window after DC9 employees beat him up. They stay they have witnesses to back up this claim.

>> Five men were indicted in the March South Capitol Street SE drive-by shooting that left three people dead. The men have been indicted on 90 charges related to the shooting: from first-degree murder to aggravated circumstances that will allow a judge to sentence the men to life in prison. During the hearing, U.S. Marshals found a handcuff key stuffed inside of the defendant’s jail identification wrist bracelet.

>> Weekend means Metro disruptions: only the Green and Yellow lines are spared from this weekend’s track work. On the Blue line, trains are sharing the same track between Stadium-Armory and Addison Road as well as Van Dorn Street and King Street stations. On the Orange line, trains are sharing same track between West Falls Church and Vienna stations. And finally, on the Red line trains are sharing same track between Wheaton and Silver Spring stations.

>> Looks like that snowstorm will miss the D.C. area and passes us to the south. We’ll just get a lot of clouds and frigid temperatures, of course. However, don’t you fret, there’s another chance for snow next Tuesday. (Warning: Capital Weather Gang crashed my browser a few times, so click with caution)
