>> Local outfit Chaise Lounge plays a style of jazz that was popular among the college and hipster set in the coffee shops of the early 1960s. They will adapt their lounge style to present an evening of holiday music at Blues Alley on Thursday. 8 and 10 p.m. sets. $18 + $12.50 minimum/surcharge.

>> Pianist Vince Evans leads a trio for a Christmas Eve edition of Jazz Night in Southwest. The show will run at a special time, 4 to 7 p.m. $5.
