TV: Rock and Roll Hotel (1353 H Street NE) presents the first of its new WTF Wednesdays! Come out tonight for the pilot and first episode of Twin Peaks, the bizarre ’90s TV show which retains a sizable cult following. Also enjoy $3 drinks, half-priced burgers and a secret Twin Peaks-themed shot. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show starts at 7:30 p.m. Free.

ART: Ben Olsen of D.C. United is raising funds for Bread for the City at the Ben Olsen & Friends Art Show 2011 at Morton Fine Art (1781 Florida Avenue NW). 7-10 p.m. $25 in advance, $30 at the door.

MOVIE: The Black Cat (1811 14th Street NW) keeps it classy at their final Drink & A Movie night, featuring back-to-back black and white movies paired with $5 Tanqueray & Tonics. 8:30 p.m. Free.

MUSIC: Darcy James Argue (who we featured in an interview yesterday) brings his Secret Society, an 18-piece big band, to the Kennedy Center Millennium Stage (2700 F Street NW). 6 p.m. Free.

THEATER: First up from our January Theater Preview is Studio Theatre’s (1501 14th Street NW) Marcus, Or The Secret Of Sweet, a story of one boy’s sexual awakening. 8 p.m. $35-$50.
