MOVIE: The Washington Psychotronic Film Society presents Night of the Bloody Apes, which our Ian Buckwalter described in a recent Popcorn & Candy as a “bizarre gore-fest” that includes Mexican lucha libre wrestling, a “modified Frankenstein’s monster story,” and apes who sound like cougars. The movie will play at the Passenger (1021 7th Street NW) tonight, 8 p.m. Free, but a $2 donation is suggested.
FOOD & DRINK: Rustico’s Ballston location (4075 Wilson Blvd., Arlington) is hosting a Schlafly beer night, with Schlafly co-founder Dan Kopman to talk about five drafts and three casks from his brewery (which will be on tap and available) and to give out free glassware. 6-9 p.m.
