With the forecast for tonight’s snowfall calling for somewhere in the vicinity of three inches, this evening’s Metro commute should operate as usual. WMATA is reminding people to be careful while entering and exiting Metro stations and buses tonight, as the precipitation could turn to ice in the chilly conditions. As far as tomorrow goes, Metro is admitting that customers “should anticipate slightly longer waits for service” on bus routes Wednesday morning as a result of drivers taking it a little bit easier on the snowy, icy roads.
