Are our Flickr pool photographers hurting for a massive snowfall? You might say that. When yours truly took a peek at the pool this morning, I expected to see a couple of photographs from last night’s thick, yet fleeting snowfall. But there were several images of white flakes (or the sleet which preceded it) slashing through the night and the resulting morning serenity to gawk at — and that figure doesn’t even include the photographs from last February’s massive storm which some photographers were inspired to upload as the latest storm brushed past the District. If this is the kind of response local photographers have when barely an inch of snow hits town, we can’t wait to see their manic reaction if and when the city gets hit by a real storm this winter.
