D.C. is full of college kids, whether they’re here for school, internships or just hanging around. Those young, impressionable kids bring fake IDs, the ability to file documents and stuff envelopes, and a lot of energy to the city. And they say dumb things.

Overheard of the Week

American University students getting on the Red Line at Tenleytown Metro Station:

Girl #1: “We should just kill ourselves before the new semester starts.”
Guy: “Yeah, let’s shoot each other.”
Girl #2: “But what if one of us dies halfway?”
