After several hours of halted Metrorail service due to downed power lines, WMATA trains are now back to operating between Shady Grove and Twinbrook. MARC service along the same section of track is scheduled to come back online around 4 p.m. The Post reports that a Pepco electric line came into contact with two other lines this morning, but what caused that to happen is not clear.
