>> Unbuckled alum Matt Grason leads his jazz-House band, House of Soul, on Thursday at the Bossa Bistro & Lounge. The group also includes Charles Ostle (***) and vocalist Rochelle Rice. 10 p.m., $3.
>> Jazz Night in Southwest celebrates its 12th anniversary on Friday with a special roster of local all-stars, including the legendary Buck Hill, drummer Nasar Abadey and other special guests. 6 to 9 p.m. $5.
>> Local saxophonist and instructor at Towson University, Jeff Antoniuk (***), teams up with some of Richmond’s finest at Twins Jazz on Friday. The ensemble features pianist Steve Kelser, Kip Williams on drums and bassist Mike Hawkins. On Saturday, Antoniuk returns to the club with his usual group, The Jazz Update, for a special tribute to Wayne Shorter. Trumpeter Alex Norris will be the evening’s special guest.
