The original.

Everyone’s flipping out about the photograph which ran above the fold of the Washington Post yesterday morning, featuring Zach Burroughs, an Arlington man whose Wedesday afternoon jaunt turned into the toast of the Internet.

The newspaper didn’t miss the chance to leap all over the fun, from commissioning Eric Athas to go out and find Burroughs — who doesn’t “even like ice cream that much” — to publishing a list of places to get ice cream during storms. Burroughs will be doing a live chat on the Post’s site at 12:15, I suppose to explain to everyone how it feels to be photoshopped so hilariously.

Of course, for a truly independent lens, we turn to Reddit, whose users had quite the time Photoshopping “Ice Cream Guy” in so many hilarious ways. Check out the entire thread here — you’ll want to set aside a solid hour or so.
