An adult male was shot and killed in Petworth last night, on the 4500 block of 8th Street NW or the 800 block of Alison Street, depending on reports. Right now there is not much more news regarding the homicide, the victim, or a motive. In an unrelated incident, a teen boy was shot outside of McKinley Tech High School in NE around 4 p.m. yesterday. TBD reports that the victim appears to have non-life threatening wounds, but as of yet, there is no official word on his condition.
