D.C., are you ready to be received? Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ll know that this evening marks the first of two opening receptions for the fifth annual DCist Exposed Photography Show. While advance tickets for tonight’s event are sold out (and only a handful remain for Wednesday), there will be a limited number of $15 door tickets available each night, based around Long View Gallery‘s maximum occupancy. (Please note that those with advance tickets will have priority admission.) A huge tip of the hat is due to the show’s sponsors — Yuengling, Ten Miles Square and The Pink Line Project.
As always, the show constitutes a remarkable collection of images offering diverse perspectives on the D.C. area’s people, places and events. All the photos are for sale throughout the run of the show. If you’re interested in purchasing any of the artwork, please contact dcistexposed [at] gmail [dot] com. The show remains open through March 27, so if you can’t make the big events – including our special Emerge Exposed panel discussion on March 21 – be sure to drop by during the gallery’s regular hours.
You’re also going to want to remember to buy your Fifth Anniversary magazine, which will be available in person at the receptions, or online. This gorgeous publication was made possible by the generosity of Ten Miles Square, Swim Bike Run Photography, DSLR Workshops, and James Calder Photography and a host of other donors.
