Good morning Washington. While this weekend won’t be as warm as yesterday, we’ll still hit the 60s today as we officially transition into Spring tomorrow. Also, don’t miss tonight’s super full moon, it was already pretty big last night.

>> Sixth-seeded Georgetown lost their game against eleventh-seeded VCU last night by a pretty big margin – 74 to 56. Sorry Hoya fans, guess you’ll have to wait ’till next year, says this GW alum. The last area team we have to root for is George Mason, who will be playing top-seeded Ohio State in the next round Sunday.

>> After the National Christmas tree fell last month due to high winds, a new tree will be planted today on the Ellipse. Our new National Christmas tree will be a 26-foot-tall Colorado blue spruce from a New Jersey nursery.

>> Here’s your weekend Metro delay update: the only line without single tracking this weekend is the Green line. On the blue line, trains will be sharing the same track between Stadium-Armory and Addison Road, Arlington Cemetery and L’Enfant Plaza. On the Blue and Yellow lines, trains sharing same track between Pentagon City and L’Enfant Plaza. There is no Orange Line train service between East Falls Church and West Falls Church this weekend with a free shuttle bus available. Moving on to the Red line, trains sharing same track between Twinbrook and Grosvenor and Forest Glen and Glenmont.
