Major delays are affecting the Green Line during this morning’s rush hour, as standing water on the tracks between the Anacostia and Navy Yard stations has forced single-tracking. Much of the slowdown has been concentrated between the Congress Heights and L’Enfant Plaza stations, but DCist has received reports that residual delays have been experienced all the way up to the Fort Totten station. Adding to the Green Line troubles: a sick customer on a train at Southern Avenue station is causing a holdup on the opposite end of the line.
