(AP File Photo)He might not be throwing out the first pitch at tomorrow’s Nationals home opener, but President Barack Obama will be traveling through town this morning en route to a speech at Georgetown University this morning. The speech will begin at 11:15 a.m. — traffic restrictions have been in place around the Georgetown campus since 6 a.m. this morning.
The speech — during which President Obama will follow-up on his national address on Libya and is expected to address clean energy sources — is open to students, faculty and staff at Georgetown; others can stream it through the university’s website.
Not to be outdone, Michelle Obama will visit Ballou High School this afternoon as part of a celebration of Women’s History Month. The First Lady will provide some mentoring to students at the school.
