Morning Washington. You wake up this morning to find your Federal government is still functioning. A last minute deal, struck last night, keeps the Federal government, and our own dear D.C. government, running. In case you missed it: we have some details of the deal, you can read the gritty details elsewhere.

>> Now that the government will continue to function, those awesome restaurant and bar deals? Cancelled. Wanted to dump trash on John Boehner’s yard? Event is cancelled. Wanted to triple park on a one way street and not get a ticket? You’re out of luck. Cherry Blossom Festival? The original route is on. Museums? Open.

>> What does the budget deal mean for D.C.? A few standouts in the bill for D.C. residents include the restart of the school vouchers program and removing the city’s ability to use our local or Federal funding for abortions for low-income residents. The ban on D.C.’s needle exchange program is still being negotiated.

>> In your non-shutdown news, an arrest was made in the awful, caught on video beat down of a man in L’Enfant Plaza in January. A 15-year-old girl has been arrested and charged with simple assault in connection with the incident.
