Photo by knascar. It really hasn’t been a good week for area restaurants when it comes to suffering serious damage. First, the group of restaurants inside Washington Harbour probably won’t be able to open for the Easter holiday weekend because “whoever was supposed to raise the flood panels, which are operated by hydraulics, did not do it correctly.” And today, a “significant” grease fire broke out at the Ireland’s Four Courts at 2051 Wilson Boulevard in Courthouse. According to ARLnow, firefighters were able to extinguish the fire, but not before the fire ripped through the kitchen and caused smoke damage and some broken windows. First floods, then fires; what’s next, locusts?
