Initially, we were planning to look back on the weekend’s Rolling Thunder procession with a collection of images captured by our Flickr pool contributors. Then we saw some fantastic photographs from two Memorial Day Parades; then some from Memorial Day services at Arlington National Cemetery; then some of people simply enjoying their three-day weekend at chili cook-offs and at the pool. At which point, we figured: what better time to look back on a relaxing long holiday weekend than a sweltering hot Wednesday afternoon?
