Kytja Weir reports that two Metrobuses collided at the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue and W Street SE this afternoon, injuring nine people. At approximately 2:45 p.m., a U2 bus rear-ended a 90 bus — the collision was violent enough for emergency authorities to deploy their “mass casualty units,” but no one appears to have suffered life-threatening injuries.
