If you really want to see Stephen Sondheim’s Follies — which our Missy Frederick called “an ambitious production with jaw-dropping costumes and some major starpower” that evokes “feelings of our own regrets and missed opportunities” — you’ll probably have to trek up to New York.
The production, which finishes its run at the Kennedy Center on Sunday, will be heading up to Broadway’s Marquis Theatre for a “limited engagement” this summer. The remainder of the production’s shows in the District are sold out — but if you’re willing to pay up, you can find plenty of tickets on the secondary market.
