In case you missed it: Metro’s moving forward. Of course, there’s still track maintenance to take care of. This weekend, WMATA will be performing work on four of its rail system’s five lines, leading to plenty of single-tracking.

Beginning at 10 p.m. tonight, trains will single track between Van Ness-UDC and Friendship Heights (Red Line); Takoma and Forest Glen (Red Line); Eastern Market and Stadium-Armory (Blue and Orange Lines); and Greenbelt and College Park (Green Line). WMATA is saying that none of the delays should be too bad — you’ll need to factor in anywhere between 10 and 20 minutes of extra travel time.

Metrobus will also experience several detours this weekend due to various events around the Washington region. See below for a complete list of which bus routes will be affected.
