Graffiato, the new Penn Quarter restaurant from former Zaytinya chef and Top Chef contestant Mike Isabella, is set to open on Thursday, June 23. The no-frills restaurant, located at 707 6th Street NW, will serve up artisanal pizzas, pasta, locally made charcuterie and cheeses, and Italian small plates. In addition, diners will have the option to order the Chef’s Tasting Menu, placing themselves in the capable hands of Isabella.

And, yes, don’t worry, the pepperoni sauce from his Top Chef All-Stars run — the dish which has garnered some considerable buzz — will be on the menu as well.

What we’re looking forward to most, though, is the seven-seat “ham bar” on the second floor, where charcuterie and cheeses will be prepped.
