Photo by Amber Wilkie Photography.August 15 through 21 — that’s the word from Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington, who announced the return of the city’s wildly popular Summer Restaurant Week this afternoon. More than 200 restaurants will participate in this summer’s Week — as usual, participating eateries will offer three-course, fixed-price lunches ($20.11) and dinners ($35.11). The entire list of this year’s restaurants is available at this link — if there’s a place you’ve been dying to try, don’t lollygag, as Restaurant Week reservations usually dry up very quickly.

UPDATE: And how could we possibly forget Alexandria? That city’s own summer Restaurant Week — featuring 62 restaurants offering either a 35 prix-fixe three-course dinner or a $35 dinner for two — will take place August 19-28. You can check out menus and make reservations for Alexandria’s RW here.
