In case you haven’t heard, President Barack Obama will take his negotiations with Congress on a deal regarding the complete financial collapse of our nation to the campus of the University of Maryland this Friday.

The Diamondback notes that Obama will host a town hall meeting about the nation’s budget with at 11 a.m. inside Ritchie Coliseum at the end of the week, thanks to the “location and the hospitality [the University of Maryland] provides.” Tickets will be distributed inside the university’s Stamp Student Union beginning on Thursday at 9 a.m.

You know this has to stick in Georgetown’s craw — after all, they only got a talk on energy policy. The budget’s a much sexier topic, at least this week. (Here’s just hoping that students attending the talk aren’t too busy studying to attend.)
