Those lucky bastards who work around Dupont Circle have all the luck don’t they? They get the free cupcakes, free drinks, and new burger joints that make everyone else jealous. Add this to the list: today from 1-2 p.m., Casa Nonna will launch their new street-side gelato cart by giving away free gelato. Bringing a little bit of Italy to D.C., they will rotate flavors such as Meyer lemon, stracciatella, ricotta and fig vin cotto swirl, and Italian nocciola as well as serving an accompaniment of Chef Amy Brandwein’s biscotti.

If you can’t make it for the free gelato hour this afternoon, the cart will be open daily from noon – 6 p.m.
