It’s time to pay homage to the doggy paddle. It is, after all, the first stroke most of us learned to swim with.

The Department of Parks and Recreation is partnering with the Department of Health for the third annual DPR Doggie Day Swim next Saturday, September 10.

The event will be held from noon to 4:00 pm at the Upshur Pool and Banneker Pool. Admission is free for D.C. residents and their dogs.
