Police are currently investigating a collision near Pershing Park which left a woman severely injured last night. According to police, a woman was walking inside a crosswalk at 1331 Pennsylvania Avenue NW when a taxicab struck her, then drove away. The extent of the woman’s injuries are unknown, but she was transported to George Washington University Hospital. Police are still searching for the cab which was involved in the collision, which occurred near the JW Marriott hotel.
