A strong image can often say more with showing a little. This photograph from Chris Rief has a simple composition, strong lines and a white balance selection that matches the scene. We cannot tell what this woman looks like, or what she is doing, but we have the beginning a story about her. She is probably doing something mundane, like talking to a friend, or checking her cell phone. But the photographer omits enough of the scene to leave us wondering.
