This morning, students and staff at Woodrow Wilson High School were evacuated as authorities investigated a suspicious package on campus. Fortunately, the package turned out to be a false alarm and students and staff at the school have all been safely accounted for. During the evacuation, students were temporarily relocated to nearby Alice Deal Middle School; parents were informed of the situation at 9:28 a.m.

The recently renovated Wilson is the city’s largest comprehensive public high school, and houses more than 1,500 students.
