TALK: Hear the harrowing tale of the 33 Chilean miners during the film premiere of Chilean Mine Rescue, followed by a talk with Chile’s Minister of Public Works, the captain of the miners, and one of the miners, at the National Museum of Natural History’s (Baird Auditorium, 10th and Constitution Avenue NW) Stories from the Mine event. 7-9 p.m. Free.

FOOD & DRINK: Del Ray Pizzeria (2218 Mount Vernon Avenue, Alexandria) and Lost Rhino Brewing Company pair up tonight to present a five-course beer dinner. The menu includes deviled egg paired with Rhino Chasers Pilsner, oysters rock with New River Pale Ale, red beans and rice with Rhinofest, beef tournedos with Face Plant IPA, and a root beer float. 7:30-9:30 p.m. $49 (includes tax and tip).
