TALK: Author Tom Wolfe comes to the Newseum (555 Pennsylvania Avenue NW) tonight for the program WOLFE! The Electric Kool-Aid Ice-Cream-Suited Right Stuff Man-in Full-On-the-Beat. 6:30 p.m. $100.

MOVIE: The “October Spooktacular” Japanese horror movie series from the Japan Information and Culture Center (1150 18th Street NW) continues tonight with a screening of Fine, Totally Fine, more of a “creepy comedy” than a horror film. 6:30-8:30 p.m. Free, but RSVP required.

COMEDY: Weird Al Yankovic, who has made a career of reinventing pop songs since the ’70s, comes to Warner Theatre (513 13th Street NW) to lampoon the latest hits, like Lady Gaga’s Poker Face. 8 p.m. $39.50-$49.50.

PHOTOGRAPHY: See the beauty of Finland through artist Miina Savolaine’s photographs in The Loveliest Girl in the World exhibit at the Finland Hall Gallery, The Embassy of Finland (3301 Massachusetts Avenue NW), which opens tonight with a reception from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The artist will be in attendance. Free.
