The Metropolitan Police Department is currently looking for help finding who killed a California man during a hit-and-run incident on the 1800 block of 6th Street NW on Sunday morning.

According to police, 32-year-old John Young Kim was struck by an unknown vehicle at approximately 8 a.m., then dragged down the block. The vehicle fled, and Kim was pronounced dead on the scene by emergency personnel. MPD’s Major Crash Unit is investigating the incident — it’s unclear where precisely Kim was struck along the block, though he was found in an alley.
