MPD spokesman Officer Araz Alali confirmed to DCist that the driver who struck three Occupy D.C. protesters with his car Friday night was not taken into custody. The protesters were blocking streets around the Convention Center downtown.

WJLA reporter Mike Conneen picked up a copy of the police report, which says that protesters, including a 13-year-old boy, were cited with walking against a “don’t walk” sign and obstructing traffic. The report includes a diagram of the incident.
