Group buying site Deals for Deeds is kicking off a week of H Street food-related deals for Brainfood, a non-profit that helps high school students build life skills through cooking classes and instruction on healthful eating.

Fifteen percent of purchases made through the deals will support Brainfood Community MVPs, which empowers teens to become ambassadors within their community and teach others to cook healthier food.

The week kicks off with a $30 for $50 worth of food deal at Granville Moore’s. The other deals this week include:

>> The Argonaut: $20 for $35
>> Inspire BBQ: $10 for $20
>> Fruit Bat: $15 for $30
