- D.C. police are currently investigating a shooting in the 1400 block of R Street NW — anyone with information should call the police at 202-727-9099, 1-888-919-CRIME, or text at 50411. Danny Harris, who runs the People’s District blog, says that the incident involved a man and three shots fired. Police have closed R Street between 14th and 15th Street.
