Occupy DC protesters gathered outside the Franklin School on Saturday afternoon, cheering on the 11 occupiers inside the school.
The number of people arrested in connection with the occupation of the Franklin School on Saturday evening has risen to 13, as police found two more protesters in the building after an initial round of arrests netted 11 occupiers. Those 13 were released from police custody over the course of the day on Sunday, and they’re scheduled to be arraigned today at D.C. Superior Court.
The protesters have called for a public meeting on the future of the building today at 6:30 p.m. at Asbury United Methodist Church (11th and K St NW).
