Calvin Coolidge High School may have had the more newsworthy coach, but it was Dunbar High School that emerged victorious in yesterday’s Turkey Bowl. (See some great photos here.)

The Crimson Tide defeated the Colts 33-21 in the District’s public school football championship, claiming the title for the tenth time. The win also came after a tough season for Dunbar, during which the school’s football team lost its coach, forfeited a game and saw one of its star players declared ineligible.
