The Alcoholic Beverage Regulation Administration took the step today after a Sunday morning outbreak of violence outside the restaurant left one person dead. Police have hinted that the restaurant was to blame, which the restaurant has pleaded innocence on the matter.

In the wake of the incident, Councilmember Jack Evans (D-Ward 2) has said that he’s exploring the option of forcing more bars and clubs to be policed by off-duty MPD officers during after-hours events.
