Patrick Casey

After the late-September death of George Washington University graduate student and Afghanistan war vet Patrick Casey, his family and friends sought explanations as to how he could have been attacked and killed outside of a Dupont Circle McDonalds.

Police eventually uncovered evidence that he may have been the aggressor instead of the victim, and today Homicide Watch notes that no charges will be filed in his death.

According to the Post, Casey’s death will be listed as “justifiable homicide by citizen.”
