If you were downtown yesterday, you probably ran into either Santarchy, a horde of revelers dressed as wacky iterations of St. Nick, or possibly another bunch of silly folk dressed as bananas. Personally, I was hoping they would face off in an epic, Lord of the Rings-style clash. But Flickr user Karon Flage snapped what was surely one of the most bizarre scenes of the day. Here we see Santa Vader—accompanied by his subservient Stormtrooper-elf—attempt to use the Force to choke out a giant gingerbread man.
