>> Pianist Eric Byrd leads a group of local all-stars in a tribute to the great Ray Charles on Friday at Jazz Night in Southwest. 6 to 9 p.m. $5.

>> The Young Lions have long been a fave here at DCist, and the trio will set up shop for 8:30 and 10:30 p.m. sets on Friday and Saturday at Bohemian Caverns. $18.

>> Twins Jazz will feature a pair of talented young musicians this weekend with saxophonist Jacob Garbus (Friday) and drummer Aaron Seeber (Saturday). 9 and 11 p.m. sets. $15 with $10 food/drink minimum.

>> Guitarist Rodney Richardson and trumpeter Joe Herrera had a successful months long run with their Sunday Jazz Lounge and venues around the city.
