While Epiphany fell on Friday this year, GALA Hispanic Theatre held its annual Fiesta de los Reyes Magos (Three Kings Day) event on Sunday.

One of the highlights of this traditional community celebration is the procession along the streets of Columbia Heights. The parade features performers dressed as the aforementioned Magi, along with Mary, Joseph and a host of animals, all accompanied by a four-piece musical outfit. Kids and adults alike sang along as they processed, before the crowd returned to their starting point at the theatre where a variety of indoor performances took place.
