If you think you could handle free pizza for an entire year (and who couldn’t?), get yourself down to the new Fuel Pizza & Wings at 1606 K Street NW today for its grand opening.

The Charlotte-based pizza chain is throwing open its doors today at noon, and the first 50 customers in line will get free pizza and other menu items for 365 days. What could you eat in that time? Some ideas, from a press release:

The menu at Fuel features a vast variety of NY-style pizza slices & pies, wings, salads and starters. The pizza dough recipes are made by hand at Fuel daily and include a chewy and crispy original dough, a crunchy multi-grain dough, a whole wheat dough and a famed gluten-free dough. Also made in house is the decades old original NYC pizza sauce recipe. Pies come in a wide variety of toppings from Fuel’s “pie parts” menu including everything from savory anchovies to fresh basil and juicy Kalamata olives. Pizza can be ordered by the slice from Fuel’s menu of designed pizzas featuring creations such as the PYRAMID PIZZA (A pizza that packs all of the major food groups from the food pyramid – fresh tomato sauce, roasted chicken, spinach, green bell peppers, part-skim mozzarella and Romano cheese on a multi-grain crust), the BACON & BLEU PIZZA (fresh garlic, roma tomatoes, smoked bacon, crumbled bleu cheese & mozzarella) and the RIVIERA PIZZA (fresh spinach, kalamata olives, roma tomatoes, artichoke hearts, mozzarella cheese and crumbled feta) or custom-made to order by the pie. Fuel also serves-up a variety of FRESH SALADS, STROMBOLI and CALZONE, HOT SUBS andfamed GARLIC KNOTS.

If you’re not already standing outside, go now.
