Police in the District are still looking for suspects in the tragic death of an infant girl that was left outside a home in Northeast on a freezing winter night in mid-January.
Given the dearth of leads police have received so as to find the girl’s parents, today they released a photo of the towel she was wrapped in when she was left to die. They’re asking anyone who may recognize the towel to contact police.
Speaking today on WTOP, D.C. Police Chief Cathy Lanier said that the cause of death is still undertermined. “We may never know the cause of death,” she said.
