If you’ve been listening to WAMU this week, you know all too well that the NPR affiliate is in the midst of yet another fundraising drive. And if you’ve ever read DCist, you would know that we’ve regularly rated the gifts WAMU gives for different contributions. (Seeing as the winter gifts are largely the same as the fall gifts, we’ve passed this time around.)
If you haven’t contributed yet because you’re either forgetful or not impressed with the gifts, consider giving during today The Kojo Nnamdi Show, and consider giving big. Political analyst and longtime NBC4 correspondent Tom Sherwood is again offering up his own body for the cause of good public radio — if any one individual donates $5,000 to WAMU during the show, Sherwood has said that he’ll get a D.C. flag tattoo. That’s certainly a gift that we’d rate 10 Kojos.
The show airs from noon to 1 p.m., so get your checkbooks ready.
