An 18-wheeler traveling down Massachusetts Avenue NW this morning found itself in a bit of a tight squeeze when its driver attempted the underpass at Thomas Circle. In the case of the tunnel, turns out there is such a thing as too big. Police had to shut down one of the eastbound lanes while wedging the truck out of the tunnel.
