What should these stations be called?

On a new version of the iconic Metro map unveiled earlier this week, we got a peak of what will eventually become the Silver Line and its 11 new stations extending out to Wiehle Avenue and eventually Dulles Airport and beyond.

As the line’s first phase gets closer to completion, Metro is looking for names for the some of the new stations—and it wants your input. A survey allowing riders and residents alike to vote on five Phase 1 stations and three Phase 2 stations will remain open until 5 p.m. today, so get to voting.

Should Metro stick with “Tysons-McLean” for the first station, as the Fairfax Board of Supervisors proposed, or go with the alternative McLearn, Scotts Run or McLean-Scotts Run? Should the Tysons Corner station really be named “Tysons I&II”, or would you rather ride to Tysons or Tysons Corner?

It’s up to you.
