While he remains in the hospital for an unknown affliction, Grandfather of Go-Go Chuck Brown has cancelled shows through May, which included a three-night, six show stand at Blues Alley. (Last Saturday’s show at the Howard Theatre has been rescheduled for June 29.)

According to spokesman Tom Goldfogle, “Mr. Brown is hospitalized and he and his family are grateful for all the love, support and well wishes. They ask for continued prayers as he shows improvement.”

Goldfogle added that if anyone wants to send Brown a Get Well card, they can send it to PO Box 4558, Silver Spring, MD 20914 or post a message on his Facebook page.
